Can anyone point me toward finding a lower front sight for my XD9SC? Need something lower than the factory sight. I know you can replace with Sig sights, but I think all those are taller than the factory sight. Any suggestions? Don't want to file sight if I can avoid it.

Thanks,

Sig sights are numbered, not sure about SA XD sights.

Typically, a .357SIG or 9mm will use a #8 front and #8 rear - .40S&W and .45ACP will use a #6 front and #8 rear.
I would measure your sight before ordering anything.

Dawson Precision makes Sig front sights..
See if they can help you.
If they don't have what you want, call them, they can make it.

Shooting about 1" below POA at 10 yards. I seem to remember a thread on here that listed the height of Sig sights and that all were taller than XD sight. But I don't know what XD the sight was from. I need to look for that thread again.
