You spring may have broke

Did it work and then is now limp and will flop around? If so then the sping arm broke...you will have to replace it. Or is it stuck in the in position like its being depressed.

I may be of some help here! I love being helpful..

The "short" arm of the the grip safety spring should rest on the outside of the rectangle shaped hole in the grip safety. If you try to insert it from the inside going outwords, the short arm will stick out.. you don't want that. The short arm should rest inside the rectangular shaped hole, and the long arm will press against the polymer frame which gives it the required tension.

Well problem solved...I dunno what the prob was. My only guess was it was dirty. I stripped the frame (except the grip safety) cleaned all the parts and reasembled everything in the rear of the frame and everything was back to normal. Thanks guys.

Oh btw..disasembling that frame wasnt has hard as I figured it would be.
