Picked it up this morning and after a quick cleaning, went to the range. 250 rounds flawless. LOVE IT!! Both worth the wait and the $$. STI Tactical SS 4.0 in .40 cal.

Very nice. I want the exact same thing but in 9mm someday. It's been on my list for about two years now, but the price makes me buy other things first. Get some better pictures up of that beauty.

The first 250 rounds went without a hiccup. This thing is a tack driver. I have a Dan Wesson CBOB as well and the STI is just that next level better. It's difficult to describe because the CBOB is a fantastic pistol, but this thing is amazing. I lusted after this STI for over a year and finally found one for a great price and I couldn't hold out any longer. There isn't any buyer's remorse in my house I can assure you.

I've done some more research tonight and the only knock I find on the STI's is the finish. I may have it coated or plated at some point, but for now, I'm just going to put rounds down range and enjoy it!!

I just recently started getting a hardon for STI pistols, with my primary "want" being a Marauder. Congrats on the purchase!

They put together nice guns. I havent heard any disappointments from them. That full rail looks pretty flippin good.

Get all of that shipping grease off of their and get a pic outside in natural light! It will let the blued finish really pop!

I'll post more pics at some point but tomorrow she gets boxed up and sent to Fusion Firearms for a refinish in their Black Shield coating process. Their version of Melonite. Should be plenty tough and pretty enough when its done. If all goes well, I'll have it back before Christmas.
