Went to the gun shop today to take my friend to get his Ruger fixed, and then I end up spending $100 on stuff. AWESOME. So I bought the Hogue grip and then purchased a Daniel Defense Light mount for my Colt LE6940 If you wanna see those pics check out the AR forum under my newest pics. You will find it, Any way here is my XDM

Interesting. I didn't think that the grip sleeves would work with the grip safety

yea, it comes all the way up to half inch below the beavertail safety and a tad higher on the sides. only $11.00

all the grips seemed to be the same size on the rack. One fits all. And yea that piece of rubber to help you grip, automatically makes it look like a Glockenspiel apparantly... that is if you have no sense of design. Enjoy it otherwise, helps a ton. People who are brand myopic are very bland. I love all makes and models. If anybody has any questions about the grip feel free to ask!

I bought a Pachmeyer grip for mine. It feels awesome, just feels like it's molded to your hand. Only difference is that it doesn't come all the way down to the bottom of the grip like your Hogue one.

Hey I just put the small backstrap on and then put the Hogue grip back on. It feels so much better and looks better too. Now it feels like the Medium backstrap I had on it before I added the rubber grip. Here are some better pictures with the small backstrap and the grip.

@ dglock, That thing is hard as hell to get on and off, well a little easier to get on than off, which is great. It doesn't rotate, shift, slide or anything. There is a piece of rubber on the bottom of the grip that keeps it from sliding upward. this rubber "flap" grabs on to the bottom of the pistol and stops before the mag well, so no interference when loading or releasing the mag. It constricts on the pistol so no moving around. It stays exactly where you put it I LOVE IT! On an XDM I recommend putting the small backstrap on then the grip to compensate for the extra thickness and width. Feels so perfect. Let me know if you have anymore questions or want to see more pictures to help you decide. Take care.
