I know this new gun is a 1911, but I posted here since I included my XD 9sc, and my Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 380 in case somebody want to see the difference in sizes
I'm new to 1911's, but I think I will enjoy the experience. Probably this weekend will take to the range

Don't know, this is the way it is right out of the box, the only thing I don't like is the rear end of the grips the corners are very sharp, how's your wife gun?

It's fairly sharp too but doesn't bother us. I did talk to a guy recently who had the same issue. He just broke out a file and rounded the edge. Looks like there is about 1/4" of MSH before you have to touch the frame. He seemed very satisfied afterwards.
