As some of you know, I got a new 6mmDTI upper from Mike at Dtech.

I am going to build my first lower. I've been waiting for the Mega with the Ambi bolt catch release. I ordered it on Tuesday from Rainer and it came in today.

Now I need to order some parts to complete it.

what made you choose that one over another? I am just asking because I have been at looking lowers and kicking around possibly getting an AR.

Well it had the things I was looking for.

1. It is billet
2. It has built in winter type trigger gaurd
3. It has the Ambi bolt catch release

I have the Magpul BAD lever on my gun and like it but the thoughts of an integrated Ambi bolt catch release really intrigued me. There are only a few that I am aware of have the ambi bolt release (Mega, POF, Seekins, AXTS)

I have heard nothing but positive things about Mega so that's the one I went with. I'm sure the other companies I listed have equally built lowers.

Just from my initial response, this Mega is well made and looks better than it does in the pictures.
