To start I dont know the most about guns but i do own a few and i know what i like and what i dont. I also do my best to put my opinions behind me and give the gun an unbias opinion. Basically this gun is being compared to 3 others that i have shot extensively. a glock sig and xd.

When i first got the cz it had mag drop problems. Wouldn't fall free. Called CZ and in two weeks had a new gun. Love the customer support. My first impressions of the gun was that the grip had very aggressive checkering along with the frame and slide. Good for grip. Also very ergonomic. Fit my hand perfectly, better than any other gun. The ergonomics help a ton for shooting. Also the slide runs inside of the frame with helps reduce recoil. I took 3 of my friends to shoot the cz sig and xd. My friends almost never shoot pistols. they ended up being most accurate with the xd. (i was surprised but thats the way it was) They also liked the feel of the xd over the sig and cz. I was most accurate with the cz but could achieve the same results with the sig.

Somethings i was not impressed with was the plastic recoil spring and the plastic guide rod in the gun. I Cant say if it is lower quality or going to give you problems in the future but it just looks low quality. Also the polymer feels softer than that of the xd and glock. I noticed that the inside of my frame were the slide runs wore quickly and unevenly. One side even had what looked like a crack (scratch). The slide runs the entire length of the frame which is polymer except for the metal inserts. which one side of mine was not secure and the slide was wearing a notch into it after 250 rounds. The controls are bulky. depends on the person if that is good and bad. the decocker feels weak and toyish but does the job. The trigger is also polymer with i did not like. when pulling you can feel the trigger flex. it has the new "omega trigger" mine was stagy. and when the hammer is cocked the trigger still have to travel the entire length of the double action pull, so its a long trigger pull. The slide finish is interesting. Its hard to keep clean, everything wants to stick and grab on to it. It also scratched pretty easy. Also the sights are plactic and painted, the paint comes off easy and i hear the front sight has a tendancy to fall off if used in a holster. also excessive holster use will wear down the plastic sights. Overall im not sure how the quality of the gun will hold up over time. Its fairly expensive mags are 45 bucks a peice. poor trigger pull length, poor sights looks cool, accurate, amazing ergonomics. but questionable quality.
