Just wondering if anyone has tried these sights?

I like the idea of a thinner front sight post, and I am also a fan of fiber optic sights. I'd appreciate opinions; both good and bad.

Haven't tried them, but would be nice on an AR if you are just running iron sights. If running a red dot optic could be a distraction if not in absolute co-witness. If running in lower 1/3cowitness you would be looking at 2 red dots.

Good point about the two dots--I hadn't thought of that. Right now I'm just running irons, but I do plan to add an optic probably after tax time.

I've decided that since I can't make up my mind on an optic, I'll focus harder on open sight shooting. I used Midway gift certificates I got for Christmas and ordered this sight--showed up in the mail yesterday.

Installation went pretty smooth and I am excited to try them out. As soon as the sun comes up, and I get my kid to basketball practice I am headed to the range!
