Has anyone ever mounted a GoPro camera to their xD(m) .40 s&w 3.8" compact before? If so what mount do you use? And is there any shock damage that could happen to the camera itself? I've used my GoPro in many paintball applications along with playing some frisbee ect. Nothing like the recoil from a handgun.

Thanks in advance.

They are suppose to be extremely shock proof so you should be already with the recoil, just mounting it on a compact might be your only hurdle

I have the GoPro mounted to my motorcycle using a ram mount. Works great.
Why don't you use the chest strap and mount the GoPro to your chest.
You could use a bicycle helmet and mount it to that if you don't mind looking like a dork.

Maybe there's a way you can use the XD holster that came with the XD and rig something up? Doesn't the XD holster have a rail mount?

I just checked my GoPro camera and believe something could me secured using the Speed loader that came with the XD Package. The speed loader might be able to slide on the XD rail and the GoPro camera can be mounted to the speed loader.
Might be able to do it and still have a functioning speed loader.
Shooting the gun with all that up hanging up front might be a PITA.
