Built another black rifle today....:mrgreen:

I don't know why the upper looks purple in the pics, the halves match very well in person.

BCM Gov't Profile Carbine Upper
BCM F/A BCG
Stag Lower w/ Stag LPK, Enhanced Trigger Guard, Suregrip
Troy Battle Sight
Eotech 516.A65

Some anodizing tends to look purple in pictures. Why? IDK

Even the Eo shroud and Magpul trigger have a slight purple tint in those pics.

Nothing wrong with that rifle (even if it does look a little purple!!).

IDK why some anodizing does that either, but I have a few AR's that the uppers all look purplish in pics, but are as black as night to the naked eye. Part of it may just be the camera's flash and how it reflects of the metal surface.

Seriously...nice rifle, sir.

How is the overall quaility, fit, finish of the BCM upper.
I am just a few parts away from finishing my latest build.

The fit and finish is outstanding, I would put it equal to if not slightly better than LMT.

If you get tired of looking at it in photos, Ill take it off your hands.

I know the pics suck, it's kind of the best I can do for now. I'm going to hopefully get some better ones this weekend.

Final cost was around $1100 w/out the Eotech. Got the Eotech for $250, so that's $1350 w/ optics.

I was just hangin around my apartment because it's my day off. I decided to go to a friend's shop and poke around and talk for a little while. He had the lower on the shelf, i figured what the heck it would give me something to do...and here we are.
