QUick question for all the fellow XD-M owners:

Does your barrel say "Match"

i have noticed a few XD-M's say match and other do not, mine does not say "Match" and it is one of the few 5000 made (don't know if that matters)

Mine also says "MATCH" on it. I would question if it didn't I guess -- espically since thats one of the key features we paid for with the "m"factor. Love the gun - can't wait to finish some minor upgrades--trigger, sights etc..

I feel like an idiot for not having paid attention to my serial...

But thanks for pointing that out, and for the link to that other thread.

So now I can sleep soundly at night OR rather day, since I've been working the graveyard shift. I feel like a vampire:twisted:!

I posted this same question. The serial # on my gun is roughly 1000 numbers below yours. I just purchased this gun last week at cabela's. They must have had it in stock a while.
