Anyone up for stating a M1 Garand picture tread?

Here is my CMP issued Correct Grade 5.8m Springfield.
The stock was has all the markings, but is very well worn and beat.
CMP cartouched replacement stock from the south store, and installed new metal. She is a shooter!

Thanks, She is a Correct Grade, barrel is mint, 1.0 at throat and a hair over 1 at the muzzle
If you need a stock, you can not go wrong with the CMP replacements.

haha unless you are like me and get one with a stock that is so tight you have to send it back because the bolt doesn't close.

They are fixing and sending it back. I started playing with it myself and decided against it. The thing looked amazing though! Not sure I even want to shoot it.

Not a very glamorous picture, I know, but hopefully soon I'll get some good porn of it...

I'll play.

This is my Garand I picked up locally in August. The receiver was built in '43 and Fulton Armory put a new barrel on it, new stock and a match trigger.

I love this gun!

Nice looking rifles!

I don't have one! I want one, but I don't have one!

I am looking forward to the Clint Eastwood movie when it comes out - I recall a scene in it where he is using an M1 Garand to make a point.

Here is my pride and joy...... it's a 1954 International Harvester M1 passed down to me from my grandfather.
