Hi Folks,

I need some recommendations for low power/wimpy FMJ .38spl ammo for range ammo that my wife can use with her S&W airweight.

Thanks

Magtech makes a cowboy load in 38 ... Forget that !!!

I just looked, and the lightest load I'm seeing is Remington UMC

Ballistics Information:

Muzzle Velocity: 755 fps
Muzzle Energy: 200 ft. lbs.

The thing is, it's a LRN ... I take it you've got a range restriction and thus need FMJ ?

ETA:
I did find this in FMJ
- http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/default.aspx?productNumber=452535

Ballistics Information:

Muzzle Velocity: 890 fps
Muzzle Energy: 229 ft. lbs.

Have fun shooting !!!

The WWB 130gr load is pretty wimpy & cheaper than 148gr target WC loads.

I use the 125g swc on the same revolver & it's pretty mild.
