A Colt Trooper MkIII in .22lr. Given to me by my Dad. I had offered to buy it from him, but instead he just gave it to me. Hell of a man and a great father, and not because he just gave me this gun, but for all the other things (including life) that he's given me.

Thanks. Yep, Dad's my best friend and hunting and shooting buddy, but I'll have to find some chore he can't get done around the house that I could help out with.
I'm torn though. I'd like to get a nice leather holster made up for the gun to pack it around the woods on walks , but its in such good shape I'm hesitant to carry it for fear of ruining the finish. I believe guns are meant to be used, but its so rare to find classic type guns with really good blued finishes anymore that I'll have to think it over.
