I have been in the market for a 1911 and I seen a desert warrior the other day. After messing with it I have the wants for one but I am not sure. I know Kimber makes some good stuff but I have not heard much on these. I know I am going to shell out some money but I wanna know if there is a better direction I should be heading.

Are you looking to buy new or used?

I would take a used one if it was still in good shape. The one that I looked at was new.
