I just ordered a CM9, actually! Looks good, I hope my CM9 works out well too
May I ask what ammo you shot through it?
Also, +1 on the needing to concentrate with longer trigger pulls. With a shorter trigger, you can sometimes get away with a bit more "slapping." Longer DA pulls will show you the error of your ways (assuming the trigger pull itself is smooth, otherwise a gritty, crappy DA trigger doesn't reveal much except how bad the trigger is).
Switching from my XD to my Diamondback 380 took some getting used to. Whenever I'd switch back to my XD, I'd have the pistol going off unexpectedly (downrange, of course), because the trigger would break far, far, far before I was expecting it to. But with practice, I can go back and forth a bit more competently now. But still, only practice helps.
I bought my CM9 to replace my DB380, though, so I'll have to start practicing with the CM9 once it comes in.
I'm looking forward to joining the Kahr family
