I was looking for a inexpensive fixed blade beater to keep with my grab and go gear.
Was looking at getting a Ontario sp6, but came across this knife. Seems to be getting some real good reviews.
I can get one for $76 shipped from MidwayUSA with birthday discount.
    Go or no go?

Depends if you want a 6" blade or 8". 8 is pretty large. That looks plenty usable... Reasonable size.

That’s nice. I’ve got a monster Kabar fighting knife in D2 that I really like. They do good work

It's not sharpened on the top.
It appears to cut down weight, probably
explains why I can balance it on my finger
and not be too nose heavy. First thing I noticed when I picked it up was how the weight feels equal on both sides

Good reviews from Knifecenter.com albeit with a slightly higher price.
