Your warranty is good for the life of the pistol, so sending in a warranty card would be redundant... in fact, I don't think SA evens offers a warranty registration card for you to fill out, because why would you? The warranty is forever...

Polishing the feed ramp, from what I have read, will not void your warranty.. as long as you don't remove any metal... if you use a dremel buffing wheel, or a cloth with some buffing compound (like brasso, or whatever) you can get that thing as shiny as you want!

I didn't get a registration card. Did anyone else get a registration card? I want my GD registration card!! I won't send it in.. but I want the MF'r if I was supposed to get one!!!

No need to send the warrenty card in.

The only thing they might void the warrenty (on that part) is if it is determined that your polish job altered the feed ramp dynamics and is the caused of FTE's.

Sending in the warranty card speeds up the process if you have warranty issues, your mailing/etc information is already in their system. Of course, they also might send you advertising materials. So what, it's more useful and entertaining than 99% of the other advertising I receive.

I just bought an XD-9 "kit" not long ago
It came with a warranty card....which I filled out and mailed the day after I bought it.
I haven't shot it yet and it's killin me!
Waitin for a good warm sunny day, just in case I wanna take some gun porn. :wink:
