Sold my Dark Earth Tactical XD . 45 over a year ago and now want a another one. I was thinking Black and Stainless Tactical, but saw a used black and stainless service model with all the XD Gear for $539.00. Looks good appeared to not have been fired much. I may be able to talk them down some. if not is $539.00 a good price for a used stainless service .45?

P.S It also has night sights.

Sounds like an OK price since it has the night sights. Getting them to go lower would be bonus!

I would try to get them to go lower but i guess it's a good price. I paid $589.00 for NIB black tactical. Have seen them for a lower price at cheaper than dirt.com and it's real easy to buy from them

i was going use that particular shop to buy the stainless service .45 because of their cool layaway plan. However I went to a local pawn shop that order me a all black .45 tactical for $529.00 new. They have an even greater layaway plan, so I'm good now.

Buy new and you really don't have much choice.

Buy second hand and $450 is the most I've ever paid for any 4" service. But that was from private parties.

Dealers gotta have their markup.

I just paid $555 new for a bi-tone service with night sights. First good deal I've ever gotten.
