I am debating between a regular m1a with a 22" barrel and the Loaded version. Is it worth the extra $200?

The cost difference gives you a medium-weight barrel and better sights on the loaded model. Not quite a NM model, but a step above the standard model.

For the target shooter, the loaded model is plenty accurate. It also makes a great base gun should you ever decide you want to accurize it.

Might just save a little more for the national match then.

I went for the loaded version. I think that you get a lot of bang for your buck with the loaded version upgrade features. I didn't feel the same way about upgrading to the match version. Plus what I am going to be using it for.

I decided the features of the Loaded model were worth the price, at the time I purchased my M1A. If I have saved a few dollars getting the base model, I'd would've been likely to have gone back later and got the Loaded model.

I would not buy a new Springfield at any price,as an LRB makes a far superior rifle in everyway.
Yeah for like 1000 more dollars.
