Ed, this was the greatest gift. Seeing the original original hs2k/xd forum was awesome. The same with reading the old threads. The archive looks a little different than the one from last year that I joined under, before the upgrade to this board. I like seeing everyone's member number, too... IIRC mine was number 3114 or something. I wonder what we're at now.

Thanks for the archive.
Since we are approaching the year mark since the infamous hacker attack of Dec 14, 2004, I thought it was a good time to bring "The Beginning" back to the top as Bro. Ed did.
Here is the current link:

Nice post.
wow that was deffinetly before my time. since I was the first one on my block to own a XD I thought I was an early player, obviously not!
Cool!
Ahhh yes!...Those olden days of blissful innocence… :D
As I said in another post, the good old days truly were good.

IIRC, I was member #506. There weren't enough people to get riled up over and we needed each other to keep the board active and moving forward.

It truly was a different place back then. I still enjoy visiting the site, but it certainly is not a "quaint" as it used to be.
Frenchy is member #3!

You can click on the profile button and then look at the number at the far right in the url in your browser
Don, I believe that Frenchy was #2,
our Senior Plank Owner.

It appears that the number on the profile that
you refer to, is one number off, on the high side.

I was number 65 but it lists me as number 66.

Yup!...Right behind Kermee... :D

Of course there was quite a few of us that signed on within hours of start-up.
Here is what it looked like back when...

Yea, a re-run, but for old times sake
for the new comers. Please check out
the urls on the first several posts.
