Brent,

You are my kind of shooter. Someone who is willing to travel a long distance to shoot 100 rounds of ammo.

So you know, the match will take 3-4 hours. Although it would be a great way to get started, not sure if it is worth the drive. That said, I'd love to see you there. You make the drive, I will buy your lunch! I will also make sure we are in the same group. We XDs need to stick together!

As for hotels, there is nothing in Yorkville, however there is a lot in Joliet, Aurora, Naperville, and Plainfield. If you go to www.hotels.com, do a search on "Yorkville, IL", a lot will come up in the area, depending on your price range. Prices start in the $65/night range.
