Just so you could change the grips like a 1911.

It'd be heavier too which might suck. Unless they use a nice alloy

I'm sure with a little JB Weld you put could put just about any type of grips you would like on your XD.

Ugh.

Offer people a simpler pistol and they want to complicate it.

Amazing.

A Sig at an XD price? You need to contact CDNN in Abiliene, TX. They have plenty.

Everybody is different, but I like my pistols simple. Some people will hang every piece of aftermarket crap off their guns. Ever seen one of those ARs or SKSs with all that aftermarket crap on it? Stocks, laser sights, foreend grips, holo sights and a flashlight? Its redicilious.

Most people I know become more dissatisfied with a gun, the more crap thay hang off it or add to it. If a gun needs THAT much alteration to fly right, maybe its time to look at something else?

Decked out SKS's (folders, hi-cap mags, rails, etc.) make the baby Jesus cry.

I want an XD with a thumb safety.

Then one could get a trigger job without having to worry about shooting oneself.

Plus I don't completely trust safeties on the grip or trigger.
