I have a Texas Heritage for my XD40 and I love it. The only bad thing about it is re-holstering, it does make it hard to do. If I were to get the Texas Heritage again, I would have Tucker put an extra layer of leather inside to hold the holster open better. I do highly recommend any of Tucker's holsters, great people and a great product.

I use a Heritage. Don't sweat the reholstering jive. It's not a problem and I have to reholster about five times a day. If you can't find the hole to put your firearm in, then I feel REALLY sorry for your wife. It's really a non-issue guys.

I wear the Heritage. It is very comfortable with my XD40 Service. Re-holstering is a little slow for me. I need two hands to reholster. Holster does not have the extra layer of leather that is intended to make re-holstering easier.

Both holsters offer great concealment and retention. The difference between the two is the bulk of the holster. The Heritage is a bit thicker/bulkier than the Answer, however they are both comfortable.

We currently have several "Answers" in stock, however we are down to one "Heritage" for the Right Hip.

Best of luck on your decision. Let me know if I can be of help to you.

I got my Tucker Answer holster about a month ago, and it is by far the most comfortable holster I own. Nothing touches your body except the nice suede back. 8-10hrs on a day, no problem. Kydex is a big plus for one-handed reholstering. Makes practice at the range and home much easier. Very adjustable for height. Service was very good, but I had to wait about 6 weeks for a lefthand model (kydex special order).

I just got my heritage last week and it is great. Like everyone says rehosltering is not the easiest but I believe there is a heritage plus or something that is reinforced with more leather to solve this issue. It is a bit bulkier I have read.

For me, I just know I like leather better. But if i liked kydex, the answer would be on my waist right now.

Here is a review of the two heritages: http://www.concealedcarry.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=18

Unfortunately, doesn't compare with the answer.

PS You won't be disappointed with either and I found the service from Tucker/ RL leather is top notch.

Happy shootin
