So...while trying something new, my striker spring guide, and spring went flying across the room.

Found the spring. Can't find spring guide.

Yay.

Been there...done that! After searching with a fine tooth comb for two days, I went ahead and ordered a replacement. No sooner than when the new one arrived and I installed it, guess what I found?!

Lessons learned:

1. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
2. It was pretty dirty in there
3. If it has a spring, it will zing
4. Using a magnet to find a plastic part is futile
5. I know a little more about my pistol

I use a screw driver to keep pressure on the spring after I get the back open a little, and just ease it open the rest of the way works pretty well for me

Buy a spare for those times when crawling around on the floor is just not an option.
Besides it is always fun to get a package when it isn't Christmas.
Glad you found it.
