I really hate flaggers on craigslist in my area....they flag everything and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

I posted an add for an Mossberg 500 stock...not the gun...just trying to trade my 6 position stock for a fixed pistol grip butt stock and it keeps getting flagged. I love the fact that hookers (an illegal profession in ohio) post adds every day and the flaggers don't flag to get their adds removed.

I have some things posted on Craigslist and every once in a while i will get a email like this, This one of the e-mails i got they are pretty much all the same, These people are scammers i send them a message back stated my price in CASH and we meet FACE TO FACE needless to say they don't email me back. It's always fun to mess with people like scammers.

Hello,
How are you doing today? thanks for the quick response. i will like you to know that am highly interested in buying this item for my inlaws.am okay with the price and present condition of the item.my payment for this item will through a reputable bank certified check from a trust worthy client of mine.As for the shippment of the item that will be done after the payment as been cleared by your bank and you have the fund in your account,by a private shipping company which you can contact via this email [email protected].I will make the client issue out a payment of ($4500) which would be the shipping cost of this item and other times have bought in your area cos am a very busy person and ..i have got little time to check emails,i know i can trust you with all this and the money.so when you have the fund cleared in your bank account you will have an extra sum of $100 for your running around and you will have the rest of the fund sent to the shipper via the money gram in order for the pick up to come up asap after deducting your own amount plus the extra $100.so i will like to have the following ....

1)The full name to be on the check
2)The street address and the state
3)your zipcode
4)your contact number

My client will issue out the payment to you via the UPS courier,i will need this info from you asap in order for the payment to be issued asap.till i read for the details..have a blissful day..

Not in my area...they spell out in detail what they offer...what they'll do and won't do (unless more money is offer) in graphic detail. The local news channel did a story on it last week.

My neighbor is undercover law...he tells me stories all the time about busting strippers and hookers daily....some from CS, he even tells stories about busting johns answering adds on CS.

Sometimes I'll post my gun ads up on craigslist...but I change the wording aroun a bit to see if the hall monitors can figure it out.

I've actually sold 1000 rounds of .354" chemically propelled hole punches, the user manual to a Walther P99, priced at $450, and some old furniture by renowned Russian designer Mikhail Kalashnikova.

So far they haven't figured it out

The flaggers in my area are getting pretty good....I put a an add looking to buy an E. Stoner design a few weeks ago...got a few emails before it was flagged, picked up some modern AKM furniture this way as well and MAK90 this way.

There's a serial rapist prowling the streets of Columbus Ohio...new's has been all over it...I've been posting adds stating "Flaggers Support Rapists" in my gun adds, they of course are still getting flagged.

I posted an ad looking for an SKS. That's all I said: WTB an SKS for under $200. One was flagged in under 12 hours, the other (in a less used region closer to me) was flagged the next day.

Seriously, if you know what an SKS is, you probably have it, and you shouldn't have a problem with someone looking for one. If you don't, why did you look it up to figure it out?

Most of them have lists of what to look for. Ebay does.

We would do this in ATL were it not for the fact that the largest paper here is insanely anti-gun. I'm sure the thought of running an Ad for a firearm would make them feel all....squishy.

Sounds like a GREAT reason TO run the ad in that Anti paper! What a great dilemma for them: need to run ad to make money for paper versus holding to the "moral high ground."

My bet is "take the ad fee money" wins!

Remember, Craigslist is run by San Fran leftists.

They hate guns but gays and hookers...well...they're cool with those things! LOL

I love it when gun sellers in our area subvert the Craigslist libs, by posting their guns in an obscure way. Example: Sig Sauer P226 fishing rod for sale...or... Remongton 870 tennis racket for sale. Yes...I actually see these things posted in our town's Craigslist.

Love it...gunners going around the anti-gun lefties...LOL.
