Nah, I prefer the gen 4 grip texture. The recoil spring set up isnt as reloaded friendly though.

My 10.5" with specials is laughable.

240gr magnum in it will pop the hand a little but the grip let's it roll up some in the hand.

That said, the Super Blackhawk is one of the toughest guns on the market. I want more.
Everyone should have at least 4 of them.

Don't hesitate to buy one used. They're pretty damn hard to tear up. Only thing I'd worry about is some tard playing with the internals. They have a light crisp trigger from factory as it is.

That Becker is over 14" long to give some scale.

I will agree with those that say buy a revolver.

I'm thinking a S&W 686 4 inches or less, maybe a 686 plus..:mrgreen:

I want a classic 586 myself. Damn blued smiths aren't getting cheaper though.

A GP100 or a used Security Six are also fine choices.

Yeah, it can. I don't think the chambers are quite long enough to stick a .410 shell in though. Not that anyone should do that with a pistol anyway.

I'm gonna grab a few more .45's next though for handguns. I think I'll order an AR lower soon though and start researching into them more. I need to play with a gun that has a 2 stage in it.
