my first AR... a gently used ArmaLite M15A2 with a 3x20 Colt Scope.
Already tossed a hundred or so rounds of wolf .223 and another 150 of some yugo surplus 5.56 through it without a hitch. i'm thinking it may need a different grip. maybe a hogue... any suggestions?

MagPul MIAD is the only way to go. no other grip out there offers the flexibility of the MIAD interchangeable front and back straps

Another vote for Hogue. I've tried the Ergo but found it too slippery in the Summer months.

Nice looking AR!!! Enjoy!

I love my TangoDown Battle Grips. Simple, grippy, comfy.

I have 2 or 3 sets of the command arms G27 grips. They fit me great.

I've also used A1, A2, ergo, and I think it's Pachmayer (The ones that you install a set of 1911 pistol grips) and the G27 is hands down my favorite. They just feel right

I personally like the Hogues. Magpuls are pretty cool too, but I really like the Hogues more.

my Rock River came with a hogue and the ergo is much more to my liking
but what ever makes you happy

do get a magpul trigger guard and a gapper both are worth the money
