Thats great!
I fig. I have rounding up.

.02 per primer
.02 per powder

but i have to buy my lead. at .04 cents

so my 357 run me .08cents each or $8.00 per 100

plus my time to reload - the brass I already have.

wow... even with their shipping prices I'd be looking at about $8.14 per 100 (powder, cast bullets, primers). Any dissadvantages of using cast bullets? How about lead concerns? What can I do to help reduce any lead exposure? I pay about 6.75 per 50 of wolf right now. So thats a savings of about 53 bucks per 1K rounds. That would make shooting a lot more affordable! or better yet more shooting

You can wear rubber gloves and a facemask like the doctors use

Don’t smoke eat drink nothing when handling lead

If you start casting cast outside were a facemask and have fun

Don’t worry to much about lead poison if you shoot indoors you more in likely come in more contact with lead then you would get from reloading lead

Making my own lead I save about $110.00 every 1000 rounds

I spend about $25.00 on every 1000 rounds of 40 s&w

gloves isn't a bad idea while loading. I'd be more worried about kids or pets being exposed to any lead. It would be in my garage but things travel is crazy ways.

I cast and reload for my 40 also.

It comes out to:

$18.00 for 1,000 primers = .018 cents per primer (single)
less than two pennys!

$18.00 for 1lb. of powder = .0025 etc. per grain (weight)
(18 divided into 7,000 grains per pound)
a quarter of one penny!

Then you figure the cost of powder per bullet so:
(I load at the minimum charge for target practice)
I cast the 175 grain so I use 4.8 grains of Accurate #2.

.0025 cents per grain of powder multiplied by 4.8 grains per charge= .012 cents per charge.
less than two pennys again!

So, .018 cents for one primer plus .012 cents of powder charge per case =

3 pennys per round

50 rounds = $1.50

100 rounds = $3.00

500 rounds = $15.00 (cheaper than WWB, you get 5 times more the ammount) :D

1,000 rounds = $30.00

10,000 rounds = $300.00

Thanks for posting that link, I hadn't seen powder and primers being sold that cheap before. At those prices...

$14.75 for primers is = .014 cents per primer.

$13.95 for powder is = .0019 cents per grain multiplied by 4.8 grains per charge is = .009 cents per charge.

So .014 cents per primer plus .009 cents per charge, that equals a grand total of....

2 point 3 pennys lol. .023 cents per round! Plus shipping though I am sure it will come out to be what I am paying currently. But just for fun...

50 rounds - $1.15

100 rounds - $2.30 (WWB = $15.97) :D

500 rounds - $11.50

700 rounds = $16.10 (WWB = $15.97, you get 7 times more for the same price!!!)

1,000 rounds - $23.00

10,00 rounds - $230.00
