I got my Tucker gun leather "Answer" holster last week and really like it. It's very comfortable and broke in nicely. My main concern is this: I currently wear it between my right hip and my ass. It is very comfortable this way but the grip sticks out really bad when ever I bend over to pick something up. Do you guys have this problem? When I'm standing it's totally concealed. If I were to wear it completely parralell to my ass it would not stick out as much but that would hurt to sit. Any suggestions? I'm also 6'3" 178lbs. pretty slim if that makes any difference.
Thanks.

I don't have "The Answer" but that's a common problem with many holsters. I have a C-TAC. I usually just try and bend at the knee as much as possible or try to put my arm over it or something. Sometimes I wear it closer to 3:30 which usually doesn't stick out as much.

I have the Answer as well. I wear mine about 4:00. Yes it's gonna stick out when you bend over to do things. When you get up just check your shirt to make sure your still covered and go about your business. You'll find out it's no different then making sure you got your wallet before you leave the house. If anybody asks you what was sticking out just tell them it's your secret modulator muffling system. Translated this mean f**k off idiot it ain't none of your business.

Wear baggier pants if you can (1 size up) and put the holster
just forward of your hip. Many times you think it's obvious, but
no-one else can tell. Don't adjust your equiptment when others
are around you. Walk and move with purpose. The more you
carry a weapon, the more comfortable you will be. You'll realize
people arent looking at you're waist. Remember that it's easier
to hide something in plain site.

My dad uses this one ...

The only one time I know I exposed in public was at a TCBY, the clerk just looked at me and winked. Young girl to, I gave her props for keeping a cool head, she said she was not worried, her father carried to and she was waiting her turn when she got older ...

Praise to the cooler heads, for they truley do prevail!

Oh man...bad memories. One time when I was way younger and less mature...probably still in high school. I was at this youth retreat or something and this girl was getting her picture taken and I was I guess trying to be funny or something and the guy taking the pictures was saying silly things to make people smile and I said "Say Grandpa Colostomy!" I don't know where that came from but the man standing next to me said "My daughter's grandpa just had a colonostomy because of colon cancer and he now has to wear a colostomy bag." He was dead serious. Oops...now I have a friend that has to have one because of a very serious stomach issue that she had surgery for and I realize it's not funny but it seemed so foreign and odd at the time. I really felt like a jerk though.

Dito
I'm the same size bend at the knees
When I first started to carry I thought sob was the best but you can't sit and every time you bend over you shirts hiked up over your piece 4:00 is best with my ctac or galco fletch. 8)
I also clip my phone thier in todays age nobody really thinks any thing else unless they carry

my holster tends to make the grip of the gun stick out noticable when worn directly on my hip. To help against this, i wear it towards the front of me, at the 1 o'clock position. It conceals extremely well there, and is very easy to pull, yet doesn't hinder bending or sitting.

Keep your back straight and bend your knees. This might also keep you from messing up your back! You can always say you have an injury that prevents your bending at the waist, if someone notices.
