as far as hitting right, check the rear blade and see where it is at, the rule of adjustment is F.O.R.S (front opposite, rear same) another words if you are hitting right drift your rear sight right or drift the front left, easier to drift rear as far as raising or lowering POI try firring from the 6 o'clock position all of this is relative to being at 25 yrds you can also run a search for a for a target on the site that shows you some things also

Are you left or right handed? the sights on both mine are awsome.
possible trigger push if your a leftie. have you tried a bench rest?
The rear sight wood punch and luck if necssary
Personally I tend to push and hit toward the left when I don't draw and fire.

im right handed, how do i adjust the sight? like do i just slide the sights or do i need a tool or somthing. i dont want to break anything.
If you are totally inexperienced at this, I suggest you take it to a good gunsmith. The proper sight pusher, which might not even be available to the public yet, would cost in the range of $100. Trying to move the sight with a hammer and punch CAN be done, but is usually pretty difficult because they are in very, very tight, and fine adjustments are quite hard to make. A Sig sight pusher can be modified to fit the XD sights, or the rear XD sight can be modified to work with the Sig sight pusher, but again, neither is a job to be lightly undertaken.

your best bet is to use a sight pusher, XD sights are notorious for being difficult to adjust. Do a sight serach and you will find all the info you seek on this subject.
