Hi all,

I've read in a few places on the web that the threaded XD(m) 9mm 4.5" has a lot of blowback when running it suppressed.

Can anyone who has some experience with using a threaded XDm (preferably the 9mm 4.5") compare the blowback of the XDm to other hosts? Best case would be the same suppressor on several handguns including the XDm and how the blowback compares between them all.

Thanks.

The XDM suppressed did the same or better than other firearms we were shooting suppressed today and there was a lot of them.

Not bad at all really.

It's all going to depend on the suppressor you're running. If it doesn't allow enough expansion then the blowback can be stout. Don't buy cheap, small, "cool looking" suppressors and you should be fine. If you run into trouble with what you have consider running lower powered self defense loads but those can create cycling issues and you might have to go to a lighter recoil spring.
