They can thank me for STILL wanting to buy one when/if I have to send it in for minor broken parts.

Thank you for bringing this gun out before 2007 so that us poor Kalifornians can have a chance of owning one.

Now please make one in 10mm and pay the PRK extortion money

compact (not sub-compact) guns would also be nice in the larger calibers.
Something like just enough for the average persons pinkey to fit the grip and a 3.5" barrel.

Thank you Springfield Armory...but you could have saved some of us some time and money, by just bringing out the 45ACP version first.

(clever marketing on their part...still didn't win me over to the 9mm or 40SW)

This pretty much confirms a Tactical model XDACP, if it hasn't been already. I wonder about an SC...

Would be a wicked recoil assemble.
I wouldn't hold my breath. But if they made a single stack 45 acp or 40 cal I would have to have one 8)
No more recoil than any other compact, carry style 1911. I just look at it this way (however unrealistic it may be):

XD-40 Service - 12+1
XD-40 Subcompact - 9+1

12-9=3

13-3=10

Thus,

XD45ACP Service - 13+1
XD45ACP Subcompact - 10+1

THAT, my friends, would be sweet!

Or would it be more like the 9mm being the mag was designed around
16-6=10
13-6=7

Sub xd-45 =7 rounds 45acp seems more realistic
