I would like some opinions on the Hornady Lock n Load AP from those who have or have had one. I'm considering getting one with the automatic case feed vs. 550B Dillon with no case feeder. I will mostly load .40 right now, but will also load .45 and .223 in the near future.

Thanks.

I bought a LnL about 3 months ago and its a great press. Of course there will be the hoard that say "do it right, get a Dillon", but thats just, like, their opinion man. /lebowski

I have had a 550b and I prefer the Hornady...

-Anyhow read the article on the blue kool aid if you havent

-I have had no problems at all with the primer feed system

-Get the micrometer pistol power insert

-I dont have the case feeder but plan on adding it soon.

-The autoindexing is a real nice feature

-I bought from Midway.com

I'm very happy with my LNL AP.
I've loaded several thousand rounds without a failure of any type.

I don't have the case feeder, but would definitely recommend the case activated powder drop.

No complaints.
