Let me start by saying that I've always known that I have the best wife in the world! But today she reached new heights. Our five year anniversary is on Monday and she surprised me with my anniversary present this evening after work, just in time for my weekly trip to the range in the morning...

That is an awesome gift from an awesome lady..
You must have deserved it though, we should give you some credit as well..:D

July 11th is our 4 year anniversary, get it, 07-11-07..
Wife is hinting she wants Tiffany jewelry for our 5th in 2012.
I told her if she gets that, Dada gets a Kobra Carry..
Or at least a nice STI..

That's great. If we had the cash, I think my wife would do that for me. But she would have no idea what I wanted. Were you dropping hints? For example, I want a Springfield Range Officer. She has no idea what that is and might bring home a Glock.

That is funny, my wife would have no idea what to get me either.
She knows I'm pretty picky about my firearms.
I can see it now, she gives me Glock, Beretta 92, Sig P238, or something else I didn't want.
I ask her why, "the guy at the gun store said it was the best gun ever...".:oops:;)
Congratulations on your anniversary! Apparently you "married well."

I have to admit I baited her a bit on this one.

We were out having lunch one Saturday a few months ago at a restaurant near my LGS. "Since we're out this way, we may as well stop in". I happened to mention to her that the smudges on the counter above this particular Springer were from my nose being pressed against it for several weeks prior. I never really thought she'd actually get it for me though...

The shop owner helped me, err I mean HER, work out the details on the right model when she came back in to buy it. I'm in there pretty much every day during my lunch break so he was well aware of the plan, err I mean situation.

Funny though, he never said a word about it after she picked it up. When I saw that it had been sold I asked him about it and all he said was, "I've got another one on order". Looks like he and my wife turned it around on me...
