Hello all. I've been lurking around here for a couple of weeks. Very nice site and very informative. I'm fixing to be an owner of a XD40 or XD45 soon. This will be my third handgun. I had a Norinco 1911 clone but sold it. Worst mistake Ive made. :( Currently own a Ruger BlackHawk .44 magnum. Anyhoo look forward to being an XD owner. :)

I can taste the Bob Gibson's BBQ as I type. A BBQ joint I have frequented since the late 60's. I was in Huntsville last week but did not go to Decatur.

Thanks everyone. Hey Oillogger if your ever in Decatur stop Smokey C's. Its my brother in law's new BBQ place. Personally I think its better than any BBQ Ive had since moving to Alabama. Even Big Bob's.

May do that. Ma & Pa now live in Huntsville close to my sister. Years ago I lived for a while in Moulton...YUCK!!!!.....YUCK!!!!....YUCK!!!! Had a fiancee in Decatur whose dad was one of the Southeastern Horse Center's owners. Didn't worked out.

Welcome!!

Odd, I was born in Decatur, Alabama and lived there half my life until I left the service. Moved to Florida in 1991.

Still have a brother up in Huntsville.

I personally like Whitt's BBQ better than Big Bob Gibsons.

Personally I really don't like Whitts or Bob Gibson's bbq too much. Its different from what I'm used too. What the hell is this "white" sauce they have? Never heard of it till I moved here. I grew up in Hot Springs, Arkansas eating McClard's BBQ. Which is more like Texas bbq. It's more spicey than the stuff here in Alabama.
