I just noticed that one of my hi-cap mags for my new XD-40 Tactical fits pretty slug up into the bottom of the gun, and when I press the magazine release button, the magazine doens't want to drop out. The other one is fine, but the one in question looks like it's rubbing alone the sides of the magazine body...like the magazine is swelling out a bit.

Anyone else have this problem? Will Springfield send me a new magazine in exhange for this one?

i assume u mean when the mag is full? this is normal. push the mag up into the gun while simultaneously pressing the release.
