New guy here, I'm the DIY type so my XD is one I'm printing & assembling from parts. I've done similar work on a couple of brands, and as a 45 ACP fan, I've always wanted to try an XD. My project is an XD-M Compact 3.8. My user name will be the next project, converting the 45 to 10mm.

Well so I thought, but the XD is now on hold. The parts seller used Fedex . The day it was supposed to be delivered the driver lied & said no one was home, I was here all day. Now today for "adult signature required" he wanted to scan my ID. I declined, so return to sender. Now I get to duke it out with the parts seller.

Good news! Another FedEx driver dropped it off today w/ no ID scan required, the other guy was a fill-in on his route. Got the parts and now I get to learn how to assemble one.
