I am looking to buy a rifle this weekend. I would prefer to get my first AR but I have others that I am looking at as well. The question is, can I get a better deal on a new rifle at a gun show or by going to the Marine Corps Exchange? When I bought my XD, I got it at the exchange and got a pretty decent deal.

I was at a gunshow last weekend.There wasnt any AR's on the tables,there were a few guys walking around with them but the wanted way to much for them.I bought a complete lower for a pretty good price,but as far as complete rifles nada.Also AR mags were MIA too,none to be found.

If your refering to the Costa Mesa show then check out Cold War Shooters. They may have the AR your looking for. I can't say about the prices but I would thing your own Marine Corp Exchange might have better prices for you pocket book.
