Gun Show at Westland Mall (JC Penny's) in Central Columbus, Ohio - Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 9-4 on August 21 and 22.

It will be my FIRST GUN SHOW :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: as a gun owner so anyone got any tips for a guy looking for a good solid cleaning kit? Do we wheel and deal? should I get there early?

Hey Overkill, if I can get my brother off his butt to go with me, I might be there. I wouldn't bother going by myself since I can't buy anything right now, but if he goes at least I'd have someone to complain to about being broke 8) If I find out something for sure I'll let you know.

Chrome: Hoppes and Outers are the only "kits" I've used, with no complaints. You can try to haggle if you want, but a lot of guys won't like it, especially if you are young. I get a lot of eye rolls and B.S. from the older guys, until they realize I may actually know what I'm talking about. If you want the best pickings as far as guns go, definitely get there early. If you just want to stock up on supplies, time really isn't much of a factor. There are always plenty of ammo and suppies. Have fun, I know I always do.

I actually managed to pass on a brand new XD9SC... bitone... for $420.

AGH! I want the 40... but... it was a bitone... and that seemed like a HOT price...

Overkill: I have no idea about any ranges in Roanoke. Never looked into one. I shoot for free anytime I want :mrgreen: I didn't make it to the show today, and can't go tomorrow either. Oh well...

BTW, from what I've seen in the area, $420 is a great price for any size XD. Especially for a bitone.
