Well My wife and I hit the range yesterday so I could shoot my new (used) Sig P229. I took that gun with 200 rounds, My XD9sub with 250 rounds, and my Springfield .45 with 175 rounds of reloads.
Its been a couple of months since Ive been out to do any serious shooting and I have to honestly say, my .45 is the most accurate of the 3 guns and its a real toss up as to which one is second to it. After we both shot each one a bit, I put a fresh target up and put probably 100 rounds from each gun into it and ended up with 2 ragged holes no larger than 4 inches each. It felt really good to shoot those kind of groups after neglecting my babies for so long. I caressed each one as I cleaned it and promised not to keep them locked up again for such a long period of time. I found out IDPA starts here next month and Im going to try my hand at it but just dont know which gun I'll use.

Hey itchy, sounds like you had a good time. Come down Tues night for the shootoff for places. IPSC courses and only 12 bux for range members.
