I think it looks like an M&P 9c...

I have one that I slip in my pocket here and there, good shooter, I like the full size one a little better for plate and target shooting.

I will eventually pick one up as well, what calibers do they come in? Not a 45 I presume.

There is a 45c that is roughly the same size as an XD45c and has 8 round capacity.
I like, I am not sure if I want the XD sub compact, or the M&P
I may get one when they get the rust issue under control . I want the one you have and the full size .45ACP . I think the rsut issue is that they use stainless steal along with the Melonite process and something isnt quite right yet . Some are fine , some are not . A bad batch got in the mix .
I got my M&P9C last week, and I must say that I LOVE it.
Ofcourse, I carry M&P9 Fullsize, so there is that instant familierity there too...

While its not as accurate as my XD9, I must say they do fit my hand rather nicely....

And my Fiance Loves the little bugger..

Nice Compact. I have the full size one and thinking of getting the .40 C ;)

Hey oldmantod: Hope you have a pocket holster. Otherwise you are living on the edge. Not sure the compact is the best for pocket carry anyway.

I have the M&P9C and it is really a sweet, accurate shooter. Ergonomics are just about perfect. Easily one of the most concealable compacts with a good holster.
