Right now I usually OC in my Serpa. It really sucks for CC and is only hidden in passing out in large public places, ie, grocery store, walmart, etc. When I'm in close quarters or confined area it's a pretty obvious bulge. I don't think anyone realizes it what it is, but I'd rather it not be noticeable. As of late I've been in alot of meetings and with the holidays alot of social gatherings and it made me feel slightly uncomfortable. I was able to adjust my clothing to make it appear as if it wasn't there and it worked, but im tired of doing that. Serpa's arent CC holsters.

I'm looking for something that holds tight to the body. I know a pretty popular one is the Galco.

Bullards are nice, made in Texas..
Gun Leather, Concealment and Cowboy holsters, Azle, TX.

I ordered an K&D Laredo for my Sig P239, jcabin.
That is my main carry as of late.
But, I won't get it until February.
There is a 14 week turnaround.
I'm also having them make me a belt.

But I researched holsters for two months and I decided on K&D.

You might look at UBG (Ugly Bald Guy) holsters.

He only has a 3-5 week turnaround.
I liked his Canute holster.
I almost bought from him, but chose K&D because of their customer service.

I'd skip the Galco and get something more custom made.

Good luck Bro......;)

+1. Good holster, but sucks for CC.

Try the Hume "Open Top" for XD. Great holster and you will not break the bank buying one. I use one and it is very good for CC.

Check out Pistol Gear. You'll get a great holster and help support a forum sponsor.

+1 on the Hume OT from Pistolgear.
I ordered one over the weekend shipped on Tuesday and should be here today.
It looks like just what is required for CC but will advise after I have a chance to wear it for a while.
I have a pancake style for my 642 revolver and love it.
This is super shipping considering I am a southpaw and have trouble finding stock holsters.
Good luck with whatever you choose.

Raven Concealment Systems - The Malabar Front

He can make you a holster with any cant angle you desire, they convert from OWB to IWB and do both jobs exceptionally well. They are also some of the thinnest holsters I have ever seen, adding almost nothing to the thickness of the gun.

Here's one he made for my XD9svc, I have it set up for IWB.
I have another for my Sub Compact on the way.

Galco Matrix M7X. About $20, belt loops that button on instead of having to remove your belt, and is very comfortable. I can even CC with it under a wicking (relatively tight) shirt. Put it behind your hip and you'll know it's there but it's not at all uncomfortable. Kydex, and mine's held up for about 2 years now with daily use.

My favorite for my XD-9 is the Fist #12. I also like my High Noon Topless.
