Hmm, Glock 21 and get 357Sig and 10mm conversion barrels, or...

Glock 31 with 40S&W and 9mm barrels.

Aaaand, GO!

I've got a G20 with a .50GI conversion slide.

And a G23 with that I have a G32 barrel for. Wanted to try the .357 Sig, but didn't want to buy a new gun just for it. The .357 Sig is a great round.

I purchased a KKM conversion barrel to convert my Glock 23 to a
.357 SIG . Shoots great without having to buy a new gun .

I'm sorry, but I'd have to get both...
But if it had to be one, I'd go the 31 with the extra G22 barrel.
I'm not big on downsizing 9mm conversions, I just buy 9mm Glocks..

I just bought a stock G27 barrel for my G33 on eBay for $81..

Do they make 10mm and 357 barrels for the 21?

I know Lone Wolf makes a shitload of conversions for the 20. 9mm, .38 Super, 40S&W, .357 sig, 9x25.

I guess you could get a 20 slide for the 21 and be the King of Calibers. .45, .400 Corbon, .40 Super, plus the above.

Oh, and you might as well get a .460 Rowland barrel too.

Damn, now you got me thinking ...

If/when I get a G21, I'm going to get a .460 Rowland barrel for it. The .460 Rowland creeps into .44 Magnum territory. Pretty cool for a Glock. :)

I think it's the same barrel you just want it threaded for the compensator. I have been debating a g30sf 460 rowland setup.

So, someone school me on this: The Glock 40S&W barrel is not fully supported, so would it make more sense to get a G31 (357Sig) with the factory barrel and buy an aftermarket 40S&W barrel? The aftermarket barrel fixes the "glock bulge" issue in 40S&W, does it not?

Depends on what you want out of it, full, compact, or sub-compact frame, and what calibers you're interested in.
9mm, 40cal, 357sig use one frame, 45ACP and 10mm use another frame.
Do you want to run 9mm, 40cal, and 357sig?
Or do you want to run 45ACP, 357sig, 10mm, .460 Rowland, and .50GI?
The latter 3 of the above can get expensive...

For instance;
I have a Gen 3 Glock 22 (40cal).
I bought a G31 barrel for it so I can run 357sig.
2 calibers, one pistol, same slide and mags.
I then bought a G34 slide/barrel upper (9mm 6.31 inch barrel) for it.
Now I can run three calibers off this one frame, with two different slides, but have to use G17 (9mm) mags with the G34 slide.
If I liked 9mm conversion barrels (but I don't), I could run 9mm with the G22 slide, using a 9mm conversion barrel and G17 mags.

If one only buys one Glock in one caliber, Glock 19, in the Generation of your choice, hands down.

If one wants to dabble in different calibers, the Glock 31 or 22 buying the other 31 or 22 barrel, if you want a full size.
Or the G23 or 32, and buy the other G32 or 23 barrel, for compact.
Then one can buy a 9mm conversion barrel for that pistol, but you'd need G17 (full size) or G19 (compact) 9mm mags.

I just bought a Glock 33 (subcompact 357sig) pistol.
I intend to run only 357sig thru it.
BUT, I bought a Glock 27 (40cal) barrel for it on eBay.
I can use the G33 mags for 40cal and drop in the G27 barrel and shoot 40.
I only bought the G27 barrel in case the ammo situation goes to sh!t again and I can only get 40cal...

I hope all that made sense..
Any questions.....;)

All you really have to remember is to put all parts back in after cleaning.:D

Personally, I think the large frames are nicer to shoot and you can shoot something like 6 calibers out of the Glock 20 alone (with the proper barrels of course).

If concealed carry isn't an issue, I'd pick that as my starting point.
