Do you guys like the G26? I was thinking of trading for one to check it out. What do you guys think?

Great gun. What are you planning on using it for?
Like with any handgun purchase, shoot it first (if you haven't already)

For me it's one of the most uncomfortable handguns on the market ergonomically speaking. I just can't get a solid grip with that bump in the back. One of my shooting friends carries one daily and loves it. I think this has to do with him having smaller and thinner hands. If the bump was gone, I would probably own one.

I just dont know if it can do things my g19 cant.
Can you make your G19 shorter and lighter? Nothing AT ALL wrong with the G19. I carry a G26 daily. Bought one for my daughter and one of my sons. Carried a G30 for years, until I wised up.

You can use G19 mags with an A&G sleeve and have the same grip as your G19. I use G19 mags as backups for the G26.
I tried a g26 alongside (my eventual purchase) an xd9sc. I found the xd a little easier to shoot, but I can see how the g26 has the edge for conceal ability. As was mentioned above, the g19 mags work too - there are options for grip extensions, etc. if not for the xd I'd have the g.
I wanted more grip when I was choosing between the g26 and the xdsc9. The 26 is bad ass though. Love the 19 also.
I think you should rent one and shoot it before deciding. I'm a fan of Glocks but not their subcompacts. I put 100 rounds through a G26 and found it was not for me. My G36 was uncomfortable as well for me and I made the mistake of buying it without shooting it. Of course it ended up being a lemon anyway. Now my G19 is another story, perfect fit and EDC for me but I shot a rental one before deciding.

It can't. The 19 just might be the ideal size: small enough to conceal, big enough to shoot all day.
I had a 27, it was nice enough. Just did not fit my hand as nice as other models, even with a pinky extension. If it fits you, a dang fine handgun that you can customize and accesorize the hell out of. They literally sell every replacement part a Glock has.
If you don't like it, you can always sell it for at least what you paid & get your money back.
When I was shopping, I shot the G-26 and XD9sc Side-by-Side and the XD9sc won out. I can shoot each equally well and I already had a Gen2 G-19, but as others mentioned it boiled down to the grip being too short (for me). Being able to run my G-19 mags (with sleeves) in it is a nice option (like running XD Service mags in an XD9sc), but I need to run G-19 mags to feel right, I may as well carry my G-19. ;)

Rent one, rather than trading just "to check it out".
I shot the g26 and liked it, but I like how my xdmc shot more.
I like it! Even more with the Pearce grip extention. I also like how they have the same type mag. extentions availible to extend out the grip and capacity like our XDsc's I'm just $200 shy of picking up a Gen4 this fall. Have shot the G17, and didn't hate it.

I like it's size. But if looking a little deeper, I can get into a XDm/c for about the same price, so the decisions will have to be made. Will be my first 9mm in the collection.

Get the one with the lower bore axis, no grip safety, and no roll pins!
g26..It was nice but not for me...g19 rocks...I would also pick the xdsc over a g26

:) I have a G-19 (CCed it for 10 Yrs) and I DID pick the XD9sc over the G-26... But that doesn't mean there isn't a G-26 in my future. ;)

The bump IS gone on the Gen4's. I've got a Gen4 Glock 26 and have loved every minute of it. I'm actually thinking about trading my Glock 17 because I like the 26 so much. Both have functioned flawlessly, just like a premium handgun should.

Get the 26, you won't be disappointed.

Yep, what he said.
I borrowed a Gen 4 from my buddy for my wife to try out. First glock I have ever loved. My first three shots were in the 3in ring. We shot a Gen 3 27 a few weeks ago and I was not as impressed with it. The Gen 4 was really nice though, try it out.
