I have a Glock 19 with a new set of Meprolight sites on it.

When shooting it goes about 2-3" high.

This is slow shooting with a controlled trigger pull at about 7 yards.

Are GLOCKS meant to be shot with your sites under the target or should it hit right were you have that front sight dot on? It shot high like this with the factory sites too (hence I bought new ones).

My Glock hits what I cover the front sight with. Maybe it's you?

2 or 3" at 7 yards will do the job just fine. Pattern it at 25 yards from a rest. If it's shooting a foot high, you might want to call meprolight and see if they'll trade out for a lower front sight or higher rear. If you're 3" high still at 25 yards, I wouldn'd worry too much about it.

When I practice with a carry gun it's offhand rapid (controlled) fire, so I'm not expecting more than about a 4" circle pattern per mag anyway. Besides, 3" high of COM seems to be the new preferred target for many instructors. In-line with the collar bones.
