I am going to have James from xd-hs2000.com install my new night sights for my XD. I was considering TruGlos but I have done some reading on the Ghost Ring night sights. Navy Seal Team 4 uses them, and its stated over and over again that sight acquisition is 500% faster with Ghost Rings.

Has anyone here had them?

There is no question that Im buying sights from James next payday (providing the hurricane does not blow me away) , just a matter of which ones.

I have these on my gun now, James installed them.


They are fantastic.

MUCH faster target aquisition than the truglo's

I'm still working on pinpoint accuracy... but these are on my carry gun, and more than capable of aiming up for putting lead on target

I've only shot about 150 rounds with the new sights. I am shooting 3-4" groups with the ghost ring, with the stock sights I was shooting 1-2" groups. Distances of 7 yards. I just need more practice.

But I am happy with them

Cammo Man - It's been a while now since you switched to ghost rings. I am very interested in your opinion of the sites today! I am nearing a decision and am leaning toward them. I have found peep sights very useful on rifles and wonder if I would get similar benefits on my XD. Thanks for your evaluation.

i found that they are waaaaaay faster, but take some getting used to.. some of my shooting buddies didnt like them, but they didnt get to run 400 rounds through it to get used to them.. im almost back to my old accuracy or better, (6" group @ rapid fire @ 7 yards)....

at first you wont like them, but after a while you will.
