My first post on this great forum! I have had a Ruger GP 100 for some time, but decide to increase my round capacity and carry a semi-auto. After much research, I picked up the XD-9 SC, and I love it!

BTW, it's probably mentioned in another thread, but this gun was hard to find in Alabama. I had more than one dealer tell me that they were back ordered and didn't know when they would get more.

Looking forward to lots of talk and learning!
