FMJ is effective is rifle rounds but not as effective in pistols.
FMJ is effective is rifle rounds but not as effective in pistols.I know that hollow point or soft tip is better for fighting... But 55gr fmj will do a good job and a person can buy alot more for storage( for later use ) I have Fiocchi 55gr 3100+ muzzel velocity , Priz 55gr fmj and Lake City 55gr fmj. When this ammo is used it will be in the worst of times for most of us...Why does everyone talk down this type of ammo for fighting..Not wanting to start any fights..I have a ar carbine with me every day at work as well as 2 other firearms I would just like some solid information.
Thanks
Depending on what you are shooting at, a soft or hollow point might be what you need.Fragmentation is handy. But so are a lot of other things. Soft points and hollow points will usually aid in that process.
I agree 100%. There's no 1 magical round out there that does everything for everybody all the time.Depending on what you are shooting at, a soft or hollow point might be what you need.
Or not.
