Took my new EMP 9mm to the range, and after 5 or 6 FTF's, went 150 rounds without a problem including a full magazine of Gold Dot 124 gr+P
Needs to go back to the factory for two things
1)I think is Extractor Problem since I got hit on the head and right shoulder about 60% of the time
2) The Rear Sight got completly loose, even with these problems I like the gun.
Since the gun will go back on their dime, I'm thinking on changing to a single safety, but I have my reservations since they advertise a extended Safety, I don't don't know what they consider extended, but I don't want a safety wider than the one I have now:sad:

The extended safety is referring more to the length than the width. It will be the same size as your ambidextrous safety, just on one side.

Since Springfield Armory had to shrink literally every part of the 1911 to make the EMP they do require a little bit of tuning sometimes, but over all they are super reliable (and obviously very concealable) when they get dialed in.

And Double_e5 is right. The EMP "extended" safety is still pretty thin (the EMP is a carry gun after all).
